Abby's Bat Mitzvah

Abby's Bat Mitzvah was a hit last Sunday night at the Westin Prince Hotel. The room was transformed into a fabulous celebration! With feathered boas, crystal centerpieces and an endless supply of sweets it was truly an event to remember!

Sharlene Wilder, the coordinator of this outstanding event, pulled all the stops when planning the night. Each guest was given a beautiful mask adorned with a crown of feathers. The deep purples and sparkling swirls were the perfect match with our Purple Eye Lash fabric. This fun and colourful fabric was the perfect choice for the event. The whimsical swirls and reflective pieces set the tone for the entire design.

Our deep Purple Satina napkins were used to anchor the shades of purple in the table linen. Guest chairs were covered in our simple Black Giselle chair covers. These fitted chair covers make for a clean and sophisticated look. Simple chair covers allow for the fabulous tables to be the focus of the room.

The centerpieces certainly made a statement and stood out wonderfully in the grand room. The tall pieces reflected the light beautifully and the hanging crystals added to the whimsical feel.
In the entrance cruiser tables dressed in our Pink Crinkle  were scattered around the room. Each table accessorized with our soft pink chiffon roses and diamond trim. To give guests a sneak peek at what was to come, a tall extravagant centerpiece was placed on one of the cruiser tables.
A three tier hanging crystal chandelier centerpiece topped with large white ostrich feathers was washed in pink with an LED light. The statement piece gave guests just a taste of what was to come!
It's the small details that really make a decor design extravagant. For Abby's event the team went all out decorating each table with a personal touch to tie in the entire design.

It was great working with the entire team on Abby's special day. To see more of the wild night check out the video put together by DreamVision and be sure to let us know what you think!

Top Choice Awards 2012 Gala

On November 2, 2012 the 7th annual Top Choice Awards Gala was hosted at Atlantis in Toronto. The waterfront venue could not be more perfect for this superb event. Guests had a beautiful view of the shining lights from the city and a perfect view of the CN tower.

It was a elegant black tie affair, it was clear Top Choice Magazine pulled all the stops to make this event one to remember! An array of foods were served but by far the most interesting was the sushi served off of a womans body! Singers, Dancers and other performers entertained guests as the night went on. Colourful and exciting costumes filled the stage and danced among guests.

What decor theme would be more appropriate for the Top Choice Awards than the one created here? As guests headed towards the main room they were guided down a hallway draped in our Black Chandelier and Gold Lame Fabrics. At the end of the hall two of our new twinkling Cherry Blossom Trees framed the entrance of the rich gold hall. To honor the best of the best we created a shimmering gold and black theme. Our sleek Midnight Black Satin covered cruiser tables and were accented with our gold diamond trim. Our Gold Starburst was an obvious choice for the guest tables. The gold sequence reflected light beautifully.
Our centerpieces were tall, three tier chandeliers with hanging crystals. The sophisticated centerpieces were lit up with different coloured LED lights to go with the lights and production around the room.

Our Black Giselle Chair Covers allowed the linens to shine against the solid black rusching.
When the sun had set the guest tables gave off a beautiful warm glow and the entire room was transformed into an elegant affair. Every aspect of the production came together beautifully.

Fall Color Story: Gold & Ivory

Looking for a rich color pallet perfect for your fall event? It's time to retire those typical fall leaves and dark red and orange floral arrangements and create a lavish, fashion inspired fall look.

We created this look last weekend at the Grand Victorian. The couple wanted a design that complimented the regal venue decor so we came up with this beautiful gold and ivory color pallet.

Our Ivory Origami Satin was used as pillars in our backdrop. This thick, luscious fabric works best in back drop designs as it adds depth and texture.

You couldn't have to many different fabrics in a backdrop, the more you use the more dynamic and eye catching your design will be. We used our Ivory Satina, Gold Cartier and some gold diamond trim to add some sparkle. Our Gold Mesh Sequence accented the center of the backdrop and highlighted our bride and groom.

Our Ivory and Butter Cream Satinas covered the head tables. The elegant draping along the front of the tables were accented with our Gold Cartier. We made this design more unique by adding a few glamorous details to the backdrop and head tables.

Rather than the typical fall wedding floral arrangements with the dark reds and burnt oranges- a lighter, more soft arrangement was used to compliment this look. Ivory and soft pink roses with bold orange and greenery mixed in made an elaborate and unique floral arrangement.

The guest tables were covered in our simple Butter Cream Satina then dressed in our Gold Cartier and Gold Sequence Swirl. These two unique overlays brought the entire look together. Our Warm White Giselle Chair Covers accented with a gold cuff surrounded the guest tables.

Our simple Butter Cream Napkins are a classic way to complete this table top design.

Just a few of the elaborate linens used on the guest tables, our Gold Sequence Swirl and our Ecru and Gold Moroccan Nights Fabric.

We love hearing from you so be sure to leave a comment let us know what you think of this design!
