Real Wedding: Melissa & Geno

Photography by Julian Moniz

Geno and Melissa: Married Saturday April 21, 2012

When we first met these two love birds we fell in love with their fun, upbeat personalities. Melissa was a delight to work with. Outgoing and adorable with a great sense of style - we knew from the moment we met that she'd be a Susan Murray Bride. The couple's excitement was contagious; we couldn't help but want to be a part of their big day. When they first met with Susan they kept a very open mind, and had complete faith in our Team, allowing us to do what we do best!

Here are a few shots of their big day, for more great photos from their photographer Julian Moniz check out his blog!

Melissa made a gorgeous bride on her wedding day. She brought her own style and flare to everything from her gown and jewelry to her purse and bouquets. Her fabulous style and trusting attitude made her a perfect fit for the Susan Murray Team.

Melissa had complete faith in us. She believed in the team's talent and our ideas. She gave us the opportunity to create a completely customized Susan Murray design for her wedding.

The wedding reception was held at Le Jardin. A few hundred of the couple's closest family and friends joined to celebrate the couple's marriage. And celebrate they did!

As for their decor... we combined a number of different textures and linens to create a regal and elegant look. They had a three tier head table to accommodate their large wedding party.
For their backdrop we used our Ivory Chandelier fabric - exclusive to Susan Murray. This complimented the grand venue and the candelabra centrepieces. The chandelier fabric was accented with our Silver Mesh and framed by our Ivory Origami Satin.
We wanted to incorporate the reoccurring rose theme into her wedding decor. Our new Ivory Vintage Rose complimented the bride's gown perfectly. We added Chiffon roses to the head tables and back drop as well to add to her underlying theme.

The regal look continued around the reception room. Each guest table was dressed in our Champagne Monaco linen and surrounded by a simple chivari chair.

Our Lilac leaf greeted guests as they entered . This gorgeous piece was the perfect teaser for the show stopping head tables we had waiting in the reception hall.

We were happy to hear how pleased the couple was with our work, we love nothing more than to hear from a happy bride.

"I can't even begin to explain how happy and amazed I am with the work and detail you had created for our wedding decor...I was truly floored! When we arrived to the hall for taking our pictures I was so excited and b-lined to the room and then it hit me, the awe and class of the decor was just astonishing...the guests and especially my uncle and his family were blown away with amazement. Susan you have truly outdone yourself and have made me the happiest bride on earth!" - Melissa

We wish the couple the best of luck and would like to thank them again for allowing us to be a part of their special day!
